Inexpensive & Dependable,

This review is from: Waterproof LED Flashlight Pocket Torch Camping Fishing Emergency (Misc.)
Summary:
An inexpensive, small, dependable flashlight that delivers much more for the price than any other similarly priced light I have ever bought. I purchased one of these flashlights and was so happy with it that I ordered three more. (Note: Shipping cost is the same for three as for one.) Pros: - It's an LED flashlight. [I'm a sucker for an LED :-)] - It's inexpensive. - Unlike all other inexpensive LED flashlights, it reliably turns on and stays on after many months of use. (After a few weeks, all other inexpensive ones I've bought start to turn off or flicker and periodically need to have the battery cap unscrewed and the contacts cleaned or otherwise fiddled with.) - It provides a reasonably bright light. - It runs on a single inexpensive and readily available AA battery. - It's waterproof. (At least, it's advertised as such. I haven't tested this feature.) - It is compact and has a somewhat useful, small lanyard. - The case is all metal (aluminum, I think) and therefore durable. Also, it's nicely textured. - The metal surrounding the bezel is scalloped in the "tactical" style, making it a possible emergency glass breaker if kept in the car. Cons: - It's advertized "with box." Well, the "box" is the flimsiest little throwaway piece of folded cardboard that I could imagine putting anything in. This didn't annoy or anger me, but rather gave me a laugh, which I guess I could have listed in the "Pros" category. - The lens is thin plastic and came with some tiny, hairline scratches and a slight bit of perma-haze burned into it. This is more a minor aesthetic than a functional issue as it has no noticeable effect on the light's performance. There are other things I would like in a flashlight, such as better optics, electronic power management, multiple intensity settings, adjustable focus, etc. But I don't expect these features in a flashlight in this price range.

I ordered it instantly impressed by "electric" imagining some re-chargable way. It was a gift who wanted it with this specification.
I was very disappointed when looking at it; As mentioned it is a pocket torch; just bigger than my index finger and wide enough two fingers. It uses 1 AA cell, so don't get misled by word "electric" and gives enough light you expect of 1 AA cell.
