This product makes me giddy!! I was a little aprehnsive about taking my iPod underwater but after all the research I did here and elsewhere nobody had a bad experience with it. I bought it for swimming laps (leisurly pace) and I thought it might be a little cumbersome but when you're in the water the thing is weightless and even strapped to my arm it doesn't bother me in the least. You MUST buy their headphones seperately, it doesn't come with them and you have to use them or it is not waterproof. I think this is my favorite iPod accessory, besides swimming with it I take it to the spa and in the bathtub!

I did the 30 minute submersion before putting in my iPod, no leaks. I put my brand new iPod in and within 1 lap in the pool (less than 2 minutes) the case was filled with water and the iPod was dead. H2O had me send them the iPod and case and 3 WEEKS later I had to call them to find out their engineers say it doesn't leak. No one could bother to get back to me with that info or maybe send the case back to me? Not that I'm going to trust it with another iPod but instead I plan to return it to the retailer. I would not recommend this product, save your $$.

This device is great. When first listening to it out side the water, the sound is good and basic. When the headphones are submerged, the sound appears to be in stereo.

Also, I created a problem for myself by cutting the ear plug too close and water would get between my ear and the plug. H2 Audio was prompt in responding and gracious in helping me to get back to where I was before trimming the ear plug. My recommendation is to not trim the earplug, unless it is a major disturbance.

This is my second H2O ipod housing. I found small drops of water inside the case during the 30 minute dunk test on the first one. Amazon took it back, no questions asked, so I decided to try again. My ipod is an 80G Classic so this is not exactly the right case but the ear jack lines up perfectly with my ipod and most of the buttons work so I'm happy. I think H2O Audio makes a universal underwater case for ipods and MP3 players so that might be the way to go if you you're not comfortable tweaking with your product a little. I put tissue in the bottom of my case to make sure the ipod stays tight against the jack and I can extend the buttons inside the case a little if I need to. I also bought the H2O Audio Surge Pro mini earphones too. One ear of my Sony's would crap out whenever I was out for a run and started sweating, but these work great even underwater. And they make swimming laps a lot more enjoyable. All in all a great product that I didn't even know existed a few months ago.

Took it to my caribbean vacation and worked great !!!! didnt have to worry about the sand or water splashing on it while on the boat !

i bought these for my husband and my brother both who work outdoors and wanted to protect their investments... the only down side that they have said is the bulkiness of the unit. it makes the already big ipod twice as big. overall this product fitted the need.

My girlfriend loves to swim and asked for one of these before she knew they even existed. Works great!

This housing is outstanding. I take the ipod into the hot tub and listen to podcasts now on a regular basis. I still get a little nervous, but there's never been even the slightest little leak. The only (very minor) compliant is its size, but I think for what it does it has to be as big as it is. It essentially makes the ipod about 4 times bigger.

I love this iPod waterproof case. Keeps my iPod safe and dry. My iPod is a much smaller style but it works just fine and attaches easily to my pod. Great service, ahead of scheduled arrival date. GREATTTTT!!!!!

This product will be wonderful with the right iPod. Mine is a 5th Generation iPod Nano and this casing didn't fit. I returned it for the correct waterproof case and I LOVE IT!!!
