I thought I was getting a bargain with these bags. Affordable, see through and compact. I opened them up and followed the instructions and before I even put anything in it, it tore. I had carefully removed the velcro, just as they recommend. But it still tore away.
I did use the bigger bag to carry a camera but am paranoid it will tear off while in the kayak and then I will have an unprotected camera. So, I guess buying the the more expensive bag will be the best bet. Not worth sending these back, as they are cheaper than the postage. I will use them for a clothes or something that won't get ruined, but not for cameras or binoculars, which is what I needed them for.

Bought from a local outdoor shop. Velcro seal tore on first use. Waste of money. Buy something else.

Only for incidental water, not for snorkeling or prolonged exposure. Used two different pouches and both leaked and everything was soaked. Will say we went snorkeling for 30-45 minutes and it was exposed for that period but did not hold. Great for keeping dry if in shower or such.

"The Water proof pouch is total junk, do NOT buy this! If I could rate it a zero, I would! Where the plastic closure strip should be `reinforced' to prevent tearing, they added a notch that makes it easier for it to tear off. Seeing this design flaw, I was extra careful trying to open it, but even then, when the Velcro released, so did the plastic closure strip. Junk!"

I bought these for my husband and son who are experienced outdoorsmen. They are actually replacement bags for them - they work great - we don't usually take electronic gear out, but these bags work great for other items that need to be kept dry, too.

These work perfect, but they can be a little of a pain to seal. But once the velcro is together, there is no water getting in!

These worked soooo well! Would definitely recommend to all. We used them for a float on the river and everything stayed completely dry

I ordered the 3-piece set; S, M and L sized bags. They sent me TWO large and ONE small with no acknowledgment that they cheated me out of the middle sized bag. I will not be ordering anything from this company again. BAD practice, BAD review. They could have contacted me and told me they were out of medium bags, but they just dumped 2 large bags on me instead.

even though i havent tested them yet, it appears to be ok for what i need on my boat and camping, they dont appear to be mil spec or super storm proof but will do the job adequately for what you pay...plus i like the different sizes, usually you get one or two for three times the price...

These 3 pouchs are so cool and I can't wait to use them, gave one away to add to a christmas gift, but I will get alot of use out of them. Anyone could use them, came right away.
