About the Author

Al Chiodi is a Southerner by heart, a Northerner by experience and a Western by birth. A graduate of the University of Florida, his bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism has given him an observer's eye. Twenty years of life in Central Florida has added to his longview of the conflict between natural beauty and the unchecked growth of expansion. Mr. Chiodi's writing highlight the contrast between the acquisition of objects and the knowledge of what's really important. After a move to the country near Mt. Dora, Florida, he began to pursue his lifelong passion for writing. In his leisure time, Mr. Chiodi travels, sails, hikes, practices TaiChi, reads poetry, and hangs around the karmic votex that surrounds his home. Other books of poetry include: "Unified Theory" , 2001 and "Tangerine Dreams" , 2002. His long awaited book of short stories and sketches will be available in the Spring of 2006.
