Many years ago Vaseline quit making what they called Carbolated Vaseline, which was a great product for small scrapes, chapped lips and crotch rot. Forget that waxy old stuff called Chapstick. Petro-Carbo contains carbolic acid and really works well. This stuff is good and you only need a very small amount. A tin should last a long time. It's well worth the price.

Have used Watkins Petro-Carbo Salve for 20+ years and have never been disappointed. For me, it is a great drawing salve, wound care product, takes the sting out of burns and the itch out of itches. Tried others and won't even try any more.

My new running shoes gave me blisters ... and there's only one salve to make it right: Watkins Petro-Carbo. My shoes aren't going to work, evidently, but Watkins is always the go-to product for healing up blisters fast--toughened the skin right up, overnight.

Excellent product. My family used this when I was very young as a drawing agent on sores. Later I have foumd it useful on horses and felines when they get an abcess.

I love this product! It works great for dry cracked skin and heals in just a few days with regular use. Would recommend this product to others.

I know people swear by this, but I just couldn't make myself use it as the smell put me off so much. I bought it as a replacement for a tin of Smile's Prid, which I couldn't find at the time, but this smelled even worse, so I gave it away. I can't fault it's effectiveness but I wouldn't ever buy it again.
