This plane flies well and is a cheap way to get into the hobby,

This review is from: Watt-Age Cessna 180 EP RTF (Toy)
The Cessna 180 was my first RC plane. I have had it for nearly a year. Yes I did crash it. Yes I did break it. But it is often easy to fix if you get good advise from someone experienced with RC planes. If you use 5 minute epoxy instead of duct tape(like another commentor)you can repair the foam body and tail several times before you have to replace it. I have replaced the motor in mine twice, the body and tail once, and the wings once. Despite what the person who said it was expensive to repair, the parts are relatively cheap. The motor was 6 bucks, the body and wing are 12 bucks each, and the tail assembly is about 9 bucks. Be warned, I have learned that it is not the easiest plane to fly, it is fast for a beginner. But it is one of the least expensive ways to get into the hobby. If you want a plane that is a little easier to fly for beginners but a little more expensive try the Easystar. I have flown my cessna countless times (and the last couple of dozen with no damage) and enjoy it. Another word to the wise, everyone crashes RC planes at some time, especially beginners. Don't fly any plane that you think is too expensive to lose.

I've read alot of reviews with people saying that this plane is a waste of money, and it breaks to easyly. This is not some toy,you cant just buy this airplane and crash it then complain that it is a waste of money.I've been flying model airplanes for about 3 years now and it took me a month until
I could fly by myself(solo). This airplane flies fine and yes if you crash it it will break, but thats why you dont crash it.You can learn on this airplane because it is rudder and elevator controls, but have an expert help you. -Jacob G.

First time flyer - almost,

This is my first RC plane and the first time I have ever attempted to fly. The assembly was pretty easy (yes, even for a true beginner) and the instructions were easy to follow. I was very surprised at how light the plane was and although the instructions advise against flying in any wind, I attempted to fly the plane when the wind was blowing above 10mph. After chasing it down the road a few times (due to the wind), I took the plane inside (also not advised) and with the wings off, I ran it up and down the hallway to ensure it rolled straight. My point is, if you see a leaf blowing down the street, it is too windy to fly.
When purchasing the plane, I knew I would break something but did not know what. They provide extra propellers for a reason - I would suggest buying more. I never got the plane off the ground on my own (the wind picked it up a few times) so I never broke anything other than the propeller however I can easily see the wings going next. The wheels did come off but a little glue will handle putting them back on. One previous reviewer said it best: if you can't afford to lose it (or break it), don't buy it. It seems like a fun toy/hobby but it is a fragile, fun toy/hobby. A few days later I finally was able to fly the plane and it was great. I did find out that you definately need more propellers. I've gone through 4 propellers in three flights.
