BEWARE OF NEW LOW WATT LIGHT BULBS IN CEILNG FANS,

Beware the new ceiling fans require low watt intermediate base light bulbs. These bulbs are really hard to find so I turned to Amazon and found these 60 watt bulbs. They are great and priced very fair. I really expected them to be much more expensive since they are an item that is not readily available in the hardware store but they weren't.

The bulbs not only arrived on time, but they were also individually boxed and absolutely none of the bulbs were broken in transit. I will definitely purchase these bulbs online in the future; especially since they're almost non-existent in the retail stores in my area (the Bronx).

I don't know what the deal is on apartment complexes using these new ceiling fans that take intermediate base light bulbs, but between a dollar store, a grocery store, Walgreens, CVS, and a hardware store within a mile walk from my apartment, only the grocery store will sometimes have them in stock.
Amazon has these bulbs, they are bright white light not yellow, and are cheap. I bought two of these so I'd have backup. Shipping was great and no broken bulbs. Can't ask for anything better than that.
