My original faucet lasted me nearly 7 years. It started leaking two days before Christmas and this was the only replacement I could get on short notice (Watts and Amazon were out of the other style faucet I wanted).

This comes with everything you need to install it and generally, if you follow the instructions, you can install this without professional help. I also installed our Watts 5-stage RO system. The instructions themselves aren't great, but with some common sense, you can figure it out.

The faucet, once installed, dispenses the water quickly. If you flip the switch up, it will stay on without having to hold the switch. This is great if you need to dispense alot of water (like into a pitcher or nalgene bottle). If you flip the switch down, it dispenses as long as you hold it.

This unit is somewhat noisy. When the system is replenishing itself, you can here alot of gurgling through the air gap. It doesn't really bother me as if I'm home, I'm not in the kitchen too much or I have the TV on so I don't really hear it. If you are sensitive to this type of thing however, you might want to invest in another model. It seems fine for me.

After two weeks, I've got no leaks and it works just fine.

I bought this faucet (it does look nice) and the description called it standardized for all reverse osmosis systems. My system is reverse osmosis, but only has a single feed for cold water. This faucet arrived and had three small hoses coming out of it and my handyman/plumber said that water would run constantly through it and that I would be better off with a single feed system. It would cost more to install it with all the new hoses than it was even worth.

It was NOT clear that this was the case in the description. Make sure that your existing system is compatible with this product -- it is NOT necessarily STANDARD. Now I have to go to the post office and pay to have it shipped back and find a new compatible faucet.
