Floodsafe portion of hose creates a leak on its own,

After installing these hoses throughout my house for sinks, icemakers, dish washer, and clothes washer, nearly all of them started drip leaking from the floodsafe portion of the hose itself because of extra connections/washers with the device. The technology is apparently not there yet. I had to switch back to traditional steel braided lines without the floodsafe "protection."
