This book/cd is exactly what I expected it to be, fairly light reading, pretty fluffy with maybe some pictures. The pictures make the book. Two pages dedicated to Goth and two pages dedicated to Men at Work seemed a bit off kilter for me. It seemed to be a take on New Wave from a very MTV point of view as opposed to the New Wave spawning from the Punk movement. If you liked the music of The Waitresses and Culture Club, you will like the CD which comes with it as well.
