These are the test strips to go with the WaveSense Keynote System Kit
WaveSense strips are 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of test strips from other manufacturers. Since the cost of strips can be a huge long-term expense, this is a very significant savings. I use ~8-10 strips per day => $8-$10 per day for OneTouch strips vs. $2.50-$3 for these. That's a savings of more than $2000 per year. (Even though my insurance pays for the strips, I prefer to use these. It seems grossly unethical to charge a dollar for a life-saving necessity when they cost pennies to make.) The WaveSense strips use a much smaller drop of blood than many other brands...certainly much less than the OneTouch strips. Even better, WaveSense claims that their proprietary technology results in more accurate readings. It's a perfect combination...better accuracy, lower cost and a smaller, less painful fingerstick. Incidentally, when I ordered two boxes of 100 recently, I received four boxes of 50. It was nice that DAP shipped them out, rather than holding the order, waiting for the boxes of 100 to arrive in their warehouse.
