Each exercise is a compelling gateway into altered states of consciousness. Techniques combine dance and body movements with relaxation, breathing, and visualizations for a total workout. The rhythms Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness uncover your own, intuitive style of movement. Beyond resistance and self-consciousness, you will discover the freedom and mystery imbedded in your spirit and learn how to unleash your innate imagination and inspiration. Unlike any workout video youve ever experienced, The Wave plunges you into the ecstatic dimensions of movement, awakening you to your bodys true rhythm.

Corny but Compelling,
By
This review is from: Wave [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This movie, based on a book about a real life experiment taken too seriously, teaches a lesson that none should forget. It shows a classroom during their study of World War II, wherein the students can't understand how all of Germany could have followed Hitler as they did. To teach them, he creates a movement known as the Wave. What began as a single classroom experiment escalates to a superiority movement within the school. Only two students within the wave can see the horrible affects of the wave and try to stop it. But can they fight against the wave, or be overwhelmed by it?
Like the previous reviewer I saw this during school. But I found the experience quite different and was very drawn into the story. Particularly a scene towards the very end. If you get the chance, see the movie or read the book, both are worth the watch/read.
