This review is from: Waves: Principles of Light, Electricity, and Magnetism (Secrets of the Universe) (Hardcover)
I missed the number of pages when I selected this to purchase. It is only 63 pages, but once you take the glossary, index, "for further reading", etc out, the book is only 35 pages long. The 35 pages are broken into 3 chapters, only one of which deals directly with the title of the book - Waves.
If you are looking for a very brief intro to light, waves, and elecromagnetism, and have money to burn, this book will do quite well. Other than it being exceedingly short, it was well written and easy to understand. |
