i had been waiting so long to finally get this album. i finally got it for christmas, and boy, am i happy.
i thought the CD was really cool...EXCEPT for Deelat's tracks, which i found grating, to be honest.
other than that, this is great dancing music, and no one else (at least no one i know) has this. be the first on your block!

ever wondered where all the big french artists get their cool tunes from? that's right, from old samples and this is a collection of brilliant house-funk tunes made just like that. if you're a fan of bob sinclair, etienne de crecy, daft punk, dimitri from paris, cassius etc. BUY this. the tracks are short and there's lots of them so you get a big choice. the artists (it's a compilation) are mainly guy-manuelde homem-christo (yeah, close friend of thomas bangalter)and his brother paul, le knight club and the buffalo bunch.

This 74 minute long cd is perfectly suited either for warming up before going out or dancing to at a party. If you are a fan of the French Disco House sound then tou will probably like this one. There are 22 tracks on the cd and they all very a lot in length. If I should compare this cd with another one then I would probably mention some of Dimitri's and Bob Sinclar's work (check Sinclar's lates release "Africanism"!). The sound is traditional harmonic French House with a lot of funky and groovy Disco beats. But if you are looking for a "deeper" cd that you can listen to at all times then I will not recommend this one. This cd is more or less suited for a party or for warming up before you go to a club. But it is definetely worth buying!
