dirty nasty filth.,

i bought this on lp at the local hipster record store. i was so impressed with the second album that when i saw this on the shelves i had to have it. i remember i went to the laundromat afterwards and just scanned the artwork and song titles while my clothes dried.upon taking it home and putting it on the sterio i wasn't impressed at all. it kinda sounded stocky. a little too rough and monotonous. but... something made me keep returning to it. i think it was to hear the creepy opening instrumental... or maybe the track "wavves"... either way, i consider this record to be just as good as the first. and rightly so, since they were both recorded around the same year. wavves is one of my new favorite bands now. this record is definately recommended. |
