5.0 out of 5 stars A Preview of the Future of Hip Hop, May 22, 2000
By petergar "petergar" (Los Angeles, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This CD includes DJ Maj mixing up tracks by some of the most innovative underground hip hop artists on the planet including L.A. Symphony, Pigeon John, Count Bass D, Grits, Ahmad and 4th Avenue Jones, etc. The tracks weave into one another making this CD great to bump in cars, clubs, and parties. The future of hip hip is coming from all the spiritually minded artists featured on this album and DJ Maj has added his awesome style to these already phat tracks. I doubt anyone will be disappointed with this CD. I love it!

3.0 out of 5 stars it was ok..., July 17, 2000

..but basically this whole CD revolves around the Pidgeon John track. Otherwise, I found this CD to be very similar to the weak hip-hop offered buy most Gotee artists. Maybe some Labklik, Gospel Gangstaz and Pettidee would have helped make this CD better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Hip-Hop, June 23, 2000

The CD is tight. The beats are banging and the rhymes are on point. My favorite track is Golden Motor Cycle by Pigeon John. I can't wait for the next CD.
