I just got this strap today. Attached it to my camera and it looks much nicer than the strap that came with my camera (basic, black Nikon strap) but it doesn't look as nice as I thought it would. I guess I thought the canvas neck piece would be a little wider and more cushioned than it is and the leather would be softer and more rich feeling than it is. It doesn't necessarily feel cheap but it doesn't feel like a $60 strap. More like between $29-$39 at most. It'll probably soften up with use but it's pretty stiff at the moment. I'm hoping with use it'll soften up and loosen up (in a good way, not a malfunctioning way) and wear in well. If so, I'll update my review to 4 stars. No 5 star because I think the strap is a little over priced for what it is. At $35 I'd likely give it a full 5 if it does wear in nicely.

I love this strap for 3 reasons. The first is that it looks cool. Most people don't take into consideration how straps look, but I'm a fashionable kinda guy so I definitely care. It looks excellent with the sony A7.

Second, the quality of this strap is superb and feels comfortable. I feel like it's one of those straps that will get better with age. Last and most importantly, I love that I can wear this strap around the neck and also cross body around the shoulder. The versatility is important for me because when I'm traveling in an area I'm shooting a lot, I like the camera around my neck for quick access. When I'm strolling down shooting less, cross body makes it comfortable to walk swiftly in and around crowds but still accessible if I see a shot.

Anyway, I absolutely love this strap. Great job ONA!

I really like the strap. It is a little weird having 2 sets of buckles on both sides but it is nice if you want to extend it to make it longer. The quality is very high grade. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the excess leather on the 2 buckles just kind of hangs. I wish they created a loop kind of like a belt so they are just loose. I used some electrical tape to just take them down. Not a big deal.

ONA makes some nice stuff. I had my eye on these straps for a while before I finally pushed the button. Looks great with my Fuji x100t. Of course the ONA style matched up with the vintage appeal perfectly. Craftmanship: Like any fine leather good, this strap feels legit. I'm not sure with the extra set of buckles is for except for looks. The leather and strap comes a little stiff, which is to be expected, and actually makes me look forward to getting some use into it and breaking it in. This is the kind of strap that will only get better with age. The Canvas portion was surprisingly a little waxy to the touch, which is awesome, knowing that it's waxed cavas and will hold up better to dirt and moisture. ONA really goes all out with their quality. My only concern is the metal buckles scratching my camera but it probably won't be an issue, even the metal buckles and rivets have thoughfully softened edges and aren't too sharp. I will probably still try to keep the buckles away from the camera when stuffing it into my shoulder bag though. All in all, what more could you ask for in a strap but that it feel sturdy and look good? Oh, and did I mention that it smells good too? mmm leather. The Lima is plenty robust enough for my mirrorless and the camera doesn't even pull the strap totally tight when hanging. I probably wouldn't want this one for a full dlsr with 70-200 though as it wouldn't be very comfortable. They have a thicker strap for that. For a small DSLR or mirrorless, given the quality, feel, and look, you can't get any better than this strap. I'm sure there are some nice Etsy straps out there, but ONA make a quality product at a good value compared to other leather straps out there. I like simplicity, and i'm not sure about the purpose of the extra set of buckles. Between that and my concern about the metal buckles scratching my camera, I wouldn't give it 5 stars, but it's close. It's very nice.

It's all l had expected and more after purchasing theONA Bowery bag which is outstanding. The build quality is there in spades. Whatever reservations l had about the extra dollars it cost was worth it . l usually do not take the time to write a review.

Very well made. Works great and looks great on my Sony a7r. Not sure I would use this on a full size DSLR. Seems better suited to a smaller mirrorless design. Will buy for my next camera as well!

We bought two of these straps and after having both straps come undone multiple times on different camera bodies over the course of 4 months of heavy usage (bodies were Canon 5d mk3's with lighter L lenses, well within the recommended load) and seeing expensive glass hit the dirt/concrete/floor while on jobs, we sent them back. There are a lot of great, reliable, strong, pro-quality straps out there but this isn't one of them. Too many buckles, no fail-safe to keep the buckle from undoing, poor quality materials etc. It's also a terrible look to have your gear hit the ground while you're on a job, not to mention the hassle of breakages. These guys make really great camera bags, but maybe look elsewhere for an everyday pro-user strap.
