There is no information about quantity on the package or Amazon description, so this should be helpful:

These felt pads are certainly heavy duty and quite thick, but therein lies the problem. The package describes usage as for appliances and small items that you need to protect your delicate surfaces from. Due to thickness and the limits of adhesion to the surface, placing these under table legs or couch feet isn't a long term solution. If you move the item, they will shear...

Otherwise, these pads are very dense and should hold up to almost any load, including a couch with four people on it. The weakness is in the adhesive, since it won't stay on forever if you move your furniture around a lot. But for stationary things, they're almost perfect.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does the job, January 2, 2009

Felt Pads, Heavy Duty, Brown - could not find, to link. These go on the bottoms of chair legs to keep them from scratching your floor. Or mine.

I got them to protect the hardwood floor in my workroom. I have a swivel chair, and then two painted wood chairs. They had those stick-in, plastic, go-smooth-and-fast things on the bottoms of the legs, but when you slid them across the floor, they may not have scratched it, but the sound scratched my brain.

So, I removed the hard plastic no-scratch-go-fast things and stuck one of these on each (the stickum on these felt pads, so far, is very good) and zip-zap! all is smooth and quiet, too.

Bonus use: In my living room I have hardwood floors, too, and we have removed the oriental rug and put it someplace else while waiting to decide about a new rug or just let the old newspapers and magazines eventually make a floor covering. But at present, the coffee table is actually really scratching the floor, and though it doesn't have legs so much as runners, it dawned on me these felt pads might work.

They DO! I used four: two on each runner towards the ends. They raise the table a bit, not enough to notice while sitting, but these pads are pretty thick, so you can see a sliver of daylight between runner and floor. I do not care though, because a temporarily seen sliver of daylight beats the heck out of a permanently scraped floor.

Of course, since it took me so long to figure this out, I actually have both. Scrapes, and that sliver of daylight which no one else would notice, anyway.

They are durable, very dark brown so if that matters to you, put them out of sight.

The package describes usage as for appliances and small items that you need to protect your delicate surfaces from. Due to thickness and the limits of adhesion to the surface, placing these under table legs or couch feet isn't a long term solution. If you move the item, they will shear away from the surface. Felt designed for furniture is usually much thinner with a strong adhesive.

Bottom line: Great for lamps, small appliances, coasters, but not useful for furniture including couches/chairs/tables.

I purchased these sliding pad things so that i can move the furniture in my bedroom more easily when cleaning and such.
It does work on the pieces of furniture that have flat bottoms and it is a two man job to clean the bottoms and apply these to the larger pieces of furniture but, if you can get them under there you'll be reasonably pleased. Just know that a gap will form between the floor and your furniture and they are dark brown when they should be black.

Best bang for your buck you'll get in home furnishings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Felt Pads, March 18, 2010

Perfect product. They fit nicely on the bottom of all my bar stools, sectional couch, coffee table and tv stand. They protect my soft wood floor from scuffs and scratches!

Only complaint is that the adhesive doesn't hold very well on the bottom of my chair legs, but a little superglue did the trick.

Strongly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gets the job done., July 24, 2011

I love these. I put them under all furniture to prevent scratches. I took a recommendation from another reviewer and used some super glue to hold them down. Not one has came off yet and it's been over a year. The only downside is that they collect dust/hair etc. Just clean them during your spring cleaning and your all set!

I applied these to the feet of my ottoman. They were easy to put on, stay in place (this ottoman is moved a lot), are not noticeable and they protect my floor. Great product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I wanted, October 27, 2010
Needed these to put under a new bed so I could slide it out from the wall. Exactly what I needed, great price and pretty good quality. Would recommend them.

I put in a laminate floor and needed to protect it by putting pads on furniture legs. These have worked very well so far and they are very easy to install since I didn't have to turn the furniture over but simply lift a leg and slide the pad underneath. I've had to move some pieces since and they slide very easily.
