This is another in a long line of Lenny Magill videos and DVD's. Before I get into the details, let me say the only reason I gave it 3 stars rather than 5 is because it is slow moving - I had to stop it a couple of times and watch it again later because I was falling asleep. Most of his videos are like this - in my opinion - but it doesn't detract from the excellent information contained within them. Also, much of the information has already been shown in previous videos, making this a video that should have been much shorter.

That being said, the information is very up-to-date and useful. The video starts out by displaying and actually using almost 20 different holsters and other concealed devices. You get detailed information about each (except, of course, the price). Some of these holsters include those that are used by Marshals on air planes and by people who drive a lot, thereby being able to draw while seated.

He also shows and reviews the use of a timer (although he also did that in a prior video) and using laser systems to practice with at home. Also, there is more of him shooting at his outdoor range and demonstrating techniques to use against multiple targets - again, these have appeared in previous videos.

In conclusion, the new information (some holsters and the laser system) is great, so for that it's worth getting. But as I said in the beginning, most of it is repeating what was shown in prior videos. If you're a fan on Lenny Magill, you'll get it anyway. I just wish Lenny would make a video that was completely new stuff - I saw the prior two videos and this one should have built upon those and it really wasn't.

It had some real information but also spent alot of my time showing me what they had to sell me. It distracted me from the real information.

I've shot bullseye for 30 years and am just now learning IDPA style defensive shooting. This 2 DVD set by Lenny is very thorough, covering 20 holsters for concealed carry, practice techniques including laser target equipment and other concealed carry tips. The second DVD covers live firing demonstrations. Lenny is an effective and enthusiastic teacher, which helps during the many subjects covered, including an excellent introductory "Situation Movie" that sets the stage for why you need to listen to the full 4 hours. I can't say enough about this DVD set - especially for those new to the subject. Even for those with experience - you'll still learn a few new tricks.
