David takes the listener on a beautiful, twisting, turning musical adventure. Each song prokoves a different emotion, but all are powerful. Between David's rich, lush voice and brilliant lyrics lie an experience no true lover of music should miss. "Way Back" is certain to bring up childhood memories you thought you'd forgotten. The bittersweet images of "The Waiting Room" and "At the Feet of an Angel" are sure to move you to tears. "Life's Not Fair", and "Heavy" tease a giggle from your throat and the sense of "that's so true!" that you might experience when listening to excellent stand-up comedy. As if David's terrific voice, lovely writing and beautiful guitar playing were not enough, this CD has terrific instrumental accompaniment and the arrangements are very well done. Words cannot express what a terrific ride this CD is, it is something you must hear to believe. In short, David A. Alberding is an artist who should not be missed, and he deserves a great deal of recognition for this tremendous collection of excellent music. It does not matter what type of music you normally listen to, fans of folk, rock, blues, country, and even gospel will certainly find satisfaction in the CD "Way Back".
