This is a wonderful book of stories about those who have been curious and brave enough to search into their own souls and find lost parts of themselves. I read this book while taking a one week workshop on dollmaking and now I wish that I could go through the year long process discribed within these pages. You don't have to be interested in dolls to see the transformations that dollmaking can bring from an individual's own creativity. Great read with excellent photos of dolls created by artist and non-artist.

The Way of the Doll is the ulitmate guide for self discovery and evaluation. In it's purest artistic form it is an avenue to reveal your most hidden talents and ultimate joys. There is sorrow and growth in the course that seems to last a lifetime, but only interjects at points of pure light in the soul. It is a lifetime of revelation molded in mixed media and color,...it will never allow you to fall back, but to bless yourself a thousand times and move onward into the next phase of growth. Thank you Cassandra.

I actually took this class with Cassandra Light. She is amazing. The reason these dolls have so much soul is that Cassandra is fearless in exploring the depths of the psyche. Her fearlessness allows her students to dare to go deeper. The book is a beautiful representation of her work and an inspiration to its readers to look within.

This is a wonderful, inspirational book. Gave this copy to my sister and am looking for another.
