About the Author
Joseph M. Faria, born on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores arrived in the US as an infant in 1950. He studied Creative Writing at Roger Williams University. He published his 1st poem when he was 23, and published his first book in 1998 in the Azores by NovaGrafica, Lda. It was the first book of fiction to be published in English, in the Azores.
His work has appeared in many, many online and print journals. He lives in Warren, R.I.

Joseph M. Faria possesses an innate ability to put on paper bits and pieces of Life and Love as seen from the perspective of ordinary folk like you and me. His unique style and presentation captures the hearts and imaginations of men and women alike. He "paints" in earth tones, empowering the imagination to share his life-experience in brilliant, passionate color! Faria is my NEW favorite contemporary poet!
