This cd is excellent. The song "Someone's Child" is another example of why Gene Watson is one of the best country artists singing today.

Since this was my first purchase from Amazon, I was a little apprehensive. However, my CD arrived promptly and in very good condition. I would certainly recommend this as a way to get those old CDs and records you would like for your collection. Gene's version of the title song, " A Way To Survive", is so beautiful!!!! Also "Couldn't Love Have Picked A Better Place To Die" is beautifully done. Anyone who loves the good old country sound would love this album.

No matter what Gene sings he can't be beat. This is another example of what a voice he has and how well he uses it. I especially like the expressions in the song "Just in Case."
No money lost in this purchase.

This is one of my favorite Gene Watson albums. His cousin, Bobbi Bost wrote a number of the gospel songs on the album and , Gene, definately does them justice. It was nice to see new material rather than all the same hymns. Very nicely done, with beautiful harmony by two of his sisters. I hope Gene records more of God's music, as he sure can sing it.

Gene did a album called "old love never never dies". Lonely Me was the 8th cut. Beautiful song. Anybody know where I can find it? Does he have a fan club? Help.anyone.
