I am a licensed addiction counselor and a Non-Native American working with the Native American population in Montana. A client referred me to this book so that I could better understand the Crow culture community. You cannot go wrong with this book. It is short enough that a student can read it and utilize it in an essay or for the professional trying to understand more about the Crow Tribe.

Very interesting approach to the stories that are being passed down. I think this text seems to reflect an oral nature, and doesn't read like a text. Should be useful for engaging class work, because it isn't linear or over intellectualized.
