4.0 out of 5 stars Great Debut
This is a pretty good CD... Here is what I think of each track... With The Accurate Track Listing :o) LoL...

1.] Intro- This is a great opening, eventhough it's just a little 40 second beat. Eventhough it's just an intro and a beat, what the heck... I'm gonna rate it. [9/10]

2.] The Way We Do [Part 1]- This isn't that bad, however, I don't think this is a very good...

This CD was, cute. The girls can sing, the beats are ok for the most part but they came out at a time when people could not take another female group. Also there is one girl in the group (not sure which one) who tries to sing like CoKo of SWV (stop that). Not the most original piece of work but you'll find a song or two you like.

2.] The Way We Do [Part 1]- This isn't that bad, however, I don't think this is a very good beat for the song, but it still isn't all that bad. [7/10]

3.] Day & Night [Remix][Feat. Jadakiss]- This is definately a great song! It has a very good beat and their nice vocals and Jadakiss's great rap goes perfectly with it. [9/10]

4.] Holla At Me- This is a very good song, with a great beat... One of my favorite songs on the CD. [9/10]

5.] Oh No She Didn't- Not all that great, but it has a pretty cool concept, and pretty good vocals. [7/10]

6.] No Na Na- I kind of think of this song as being a funny track, because of it's lyrics. It has a great beat and very very nice lyrics... it's a highlight of he CD. [8/10]

7.] Stood Up- I love the beat, and the great concept. [8/10]

8.] Hate- This is another great song, about them not liking the guy they like going out with a girl they just can't stand... nice beat! [8/10]

9.] Single or The Rest Of My Life- This is another one of my favorites... everyone can relate to it, and it was good enough to be a single... I rest my case :o) [9/10]

10.] Uh Uh, Uh Uh- I love the concept, but the guy vocalist throws it off a little bit. [8/10]

11.] Not Letting Him Go- Not THAT Bad, but not THAT good either. [6/10]

12.] Beautiful U- BEAUTIFUL! [9/10]

13.] Message To U- THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I LOVE IT! [10/10]

14.] The Way We Do [Part 2]- Probably the worst song on the CD, isn't as good as part 1. [5/10]

15.] Unladylike- Had to grow on me... It's a nice song with a nice rock n roll twist to it. [8/10]

16.] Thank You Lord [Outro]- Wow... They made even an interlude sound awesome! I love it! [10/10]

17.] Day & Night [Original Version][Feat. Jadakiss]- I LOVE THIS!!! This is even better than the remix, because it's guitar, and instead of a trumpet it is a chime... 2nd best next to "Message To U" [10/10]

Averaged Rating: [83/100]

Want a CD by a great girlgroup who is a mix between Destiny's Child, SWV, and Allure?!? BUY THIS! THEY ARE EVEN BETTER, AND IT WILL ABSOLUTELY BLOW YOUR MIND!

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST Girl Group, December 3, 2005
This review is from: Way We Do (Audio CD)
ISYSS had it all, voices, looks, sexy dance moves, and style. This shows when you buy The Way We Do, Quierra the lead singer had a very strong voice that is as good as Beyonces. The highlights of this album are the blazin hot upbeat "Hater", the first single "Day and night" ft Jadakiss, "The Way we do" pt 1, the funky "Stood Up", the sexy sounding ballad "Message 2 U", the slow ballad with great vocal range "Beautiful You", and the best song on the album their second single "Single For the Rest of my Life". This is a hot album, and I wish they would have been able to release their second one, its so sad what happend to Arista and the girls are now on their separate ways and doing their own thing singing/modeling/school, I continue to support them. ISYSS is one of the best girl groups ever

4.0 out of 5 stars Underrated, December 21, 2003
This review is from: Way We Do (Audio CD)
I think 90% of the music that comes out to day is garbage, so the fact that I gave this CD a 4 is something unique.

This is a CD with profound lyrics or genius instrumentation but it has some good dance beats, some good harmonies, and some decent melodies. Soundwise, I would compare this group to 702, but with a bit more substance. It is sad that this group was overlooked while mediocre singers like Britney Spears clog up the radio.

If you like this group or 702, another very underrated/unknown group I recommend is S.H.E. It's 5+ years old and is made up of three sisters (You might remember the youngest sister, Jamie Fox,who played "Judy Winslow", the younger daughter on the 1990s hit comedy, "Family Matters"). This had great harmonies and melodies, too.

4.0 out of 5 stars HOTTT Debut!, October 3, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Way We Do (Audio CD)
This is a hot debut album. It's got bangin' beatz and great vocals. The 1st single, "Day & Night Remix" f/ Jadakiss is off da hook! Puttin' Jada on da track was a great choice(His album is hott as well!). The new single, "Single for the rest of my life" is a great rnb ballad. "Oh No She Didn't" is THE BEST track off the album. It has a great beat and an awesome rap by one of tha gurlz in da begining (unfortunately she only raps on this song and it's pretty short). This NEEDS to be the next single! Other highlights are "Hater", "Never Letting Him Go", "Stood Up", and "Uh uh, uh uh". However, not all the tracks are great. The original version of Day & Night isn't that good. It's a little too laid back and the beat is bad and it doesn't work with the lyrics of the song. Other dissapointments are "No na na" and "Beautiful U". However, the rest are bangin'! So overall, it's a great debut for a new girl group. However, they definately do have an edge. They do curse, which is good, so they don't get the squeeky clean pop image. Please cop dis album, it's off da hook!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Dang, it's sad the talented ones don't last, November 12, 2007
This review is from: Way We Do (Audio CD)
I know i'm extremely late but I was honestly scared to purchase this album. I thought "Day and Night" and "Single By Myself" would be the only hot songs but boy was I wrong. The whole album is dope. My fav songs are of course "Day and Night" (remix), "No Na Na" and "Beautiful U". I have tried to find it everywhere after I got so tired on listening to the plain, run-of-the-mill R&B chicks out today. I don't care if you can dance, I need some more substance. These girls are very talented and very deserving of the Lady of Soul Award they won. I wish more people, (myself included) would have supported them from the outset.

4.0 out of 5 stars Up and coming R&B group, September 15, 2004
This review is from: Way We Do (Audio CD)
I remember the first time. I heard "Day & Night" on BET and saw the video. I was like oh hell yeah. I like this. So i got the single at first and then when the CD came out i coped it, of course.

With only 2 or 3 songs that i didnt like. The cd is totally hot. I love "Unladylike" it has that attitude telling a girl to stop sweating her boyfriend. "Oh No She Didnt" reminds me of that roommate that doesnt do jack cept eat up everything & run up your phone bill. I like it. Also "Hater" i love it as well. Some other nice tracks "Holla At Me", "Beautiful U", "Day and Night" to name just a few.

Hope that Isyss does another CD minus a couple of the songs i dont really like "Not Letting Him Go" to name one. Also would have more leads shared by the other girls in the group. I know they are capable.

All around this is a nice debut CD from a rising Female R&B group, love me some Isyss.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good start, January 4, 2004

A good and steady soul debut. The lead singer's voice is ok and fine but no particularly recognizable and strong. Some songs are very catchy like Day and Night , Stood up or Hater. They have good (break-)beats and everything is ok - just all in all it lacks a bit of individualism.
