5.0 out of 5 stars God has used Wayne Watson to bring people to the Lord., December 30, 2000
By
Glenna Scott (Catoosa, OK USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Wayne Watson (Audio CD)
On November 17, 2000 my brother took his life at age 45. While making many trips in my car to be with my other siblings and mother, I would be alone and want silence to try to sort things out. One trip back to my house I really needed to be ministered to. I turned on my Christian station I usually listen to and as I listened I couldn't believe what I was hearing...something about "those who remain standing must cry all the tears". God gave me that song from Wayne Watson. We played it at the funeral and because the words were so powerful we put them on a video projector for all to see. As the words came "those who remain standing must cry all the tears", I was compelled to stand and sing out. The entire packed church followed. God has used this song to speak to my family. Wayne Watson is to be praised for allowing God to use him and to deliver such an AWESOME cd. The entire cd is incredible with songs that touch hearts and can change lives. Wow! Thank you, Wayne Watson, for being a messenger of God. I pray that the pain you must have felt as you wrote these songs will soon ease, just as the pain I am feeling in the loss of my brother will someday ease.

5.0 out of 5 stars Always Exceptional, July 28, 2000
By
This review is from: Wayne Watson (Audio CD)
I have been listening to Wayne Watson's work since the late 70's. His gift for putting words to music is always exceptional, reflecting both passion and insight of God's ways and means. He can lift you to greater levels of worship ("Merciful Heaven) and greater depths of commitment ("Finest Hour"). His gift is especially realized when he turns to matters of the family. If you've lost a parent, let "Turning Into Dad" help to comfort and encourage your heart. Wayne Watson is one Christian artist that maintains excellence consistently in all of his work. He is able to capture eternal truths in everyday situations like few Christian songwriters today. I don't think you'll be ever be disappointed with any of his work.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!, November 10, 2000
This review is from: Wayne Watson (Audio CD)
If you think Wayne Watson is only for your parents you are wrong! This is the best CD he's ever put out and I love it. He gives many challenges through his songs and makes you think.

5.0 out of 5 stars He did it again!, July 22, 2000
This review is from: Wayne Watson (Audio CD)
He being God, did use Wayne Watson yet again to speak to people everywhere. From the oddballs of society in "More Than A Little Unusual" to hurting souls whose loved ones have passed on in "The Ones Left Standing" and "Turning Into Dad" Wayne has reached inside my heart and placed a healing balm there through his music. Other tracks on this CD include; "Merciful Heaven", "Finest Hour", "Trust In You", "The Blood Of Jesus", "One Of These Days", "Everything Can Change So Fast", "Pray" and "The Wrong Stuff". I'll enjoy this for years and if your a friend of mine, you just may get this CD as a gift from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wayne- Better With Age, July 16, 2001

I am a big Watson fan, so it takes a lot for me to say this: from front to back, this self titled release is Wayne's best all around. From track 1 "More Than A Little Unusual", to "Merciful Heaven", to "Finest Hour", to "The Blood of Jesus", to "Everything Can Change So Fast", This is one of those rare CDs that I don't skip tracks when I play it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Supernaturally natural, July 25, 2000
This review is from: Wayne Watson (Audio CD)
Wayne has came back after a lack of creativity. This CD definately is better than the previously released and monotone "The Way Home" and ranks with the on fire "Field of Souls" and the honest "The Fine Line" as one of his greatest CD's.

5.0 out of 5 stars His strongest album yet, July 22, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Wayne Watson (Audio CD)
I got to love his album on my way to and from work (about a 40 minute commute). My radio station KTIS plays him backwards and forwards and I am very thankful for that. The songs on his new CD have a very strong message and powerful music that will grip you as a whole.
