3.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a book for new migraine sufferers
I've had migraines for years, so I've read many books on the subject. This book was disappointing to me because I was expecting 50 ways to control migraines, just as the title suggests. But the number 1 "way" to control migraines according to this book was "Learn the basics about pain," leading to number 7 - "Don't fall for headache myths." This continued all the way to...

I've had migraines for years, so I've read many books on the subject. This book was disappointing to me because I was expecting 50 ways to control migraines, just as the title suggests. But the number 1 "way" to control migraines according to this book was "Learn the basics about pain," leading to number 7 - "Don't fall for headache myths." This continued all the way to number 50 - "Learn how to reduce medication costs." None of these helped me learn how to control my migraines. This book would be an interesting read for new migraine sufferers because it does have some good information, but if you've done any research on the subject, this book really won't offer any new ways to control your headaches.

As someone who is married to a migraine sufferer, this bood was a true godsend. Many of the advice and information given has helped tremendously - not only my husband, but his doctor as well! It's written in easy to understand terms and could make a difference in your life, like it did for ours.
