The assumption that this book is to teach you how to do it, is totally incorrect. It's an ideas book with a simple explanation and sufficient information on each idea or way to point you in the right direction. And, if you're thinking that any old person can benefit from it then you are wrong. You need a commitment to your hobby or trade and the ability to produce quality images that will sell. This book gives you a host of ideas that will assist you to sell these quality images. Ways to make quick money selling average amateur photos it is not! Go to the charlatan ebooks sites for books on quick cash from your camera (by the way which don't work).

If you are serious about your photography, full-time, part-time or as just a hobby then this book is definitely for you. It does not provide you with comprehensive information. For example, making money from stock or micro-stock requires a whole book on it's own. What it does do is give you sufficient information about each idea for you to ascertain if it's for you. If it catches your fancy then find out more about that particular idea through more research or books. You are never going to make money from any idea by just reading 2.5 pages in an idea book.
What this book does is inspire you with fresh ideas that are very possible to the average photographer who wants to seriously focus on making money. There are a host of ways that I have been totally unaware of and others that the book gives the information I was looking for to understand the idea or concept.

The format of the book is well laid out, clear and easy to read. I was very excited to receive my copy and it did not let me down.

If you are looking are for a literary masterpiece as some of the other reviewers are, then it's not that.

I don't care so much about the spelling and grammar errors, just wish there was more useful information in the book. number 99 is "make your first sale." I can't figure out how that is a way to sell photography. I'm sure they made fair profits from the sale of this book. Good for them for having the idea to write it and carry it through, but for the reader, not much here. Give your photos to homeless people to sell as postcards? Sell to ebay auctioneers? Some of the ideas are downright worthless.

When I first picked up this book, I thought I was going to get a list of vague ideas that gave you just enough information on topics anyone with half a brain could think up on their own. Luckily, this book is the exception to my skepticism.

As the title suggests, there are 99 ways to make money from you photos. One of the things that made me really love this book was the graphical way each topic is represented in level of difficulty, how much competition to expect, and how much money (income potential) you could make.

This books takes a lot of the guesswork out and provides an honest overview of each topic - and some topics I never even heard of. For instance, I never knew there were "Moo Cards" - quite popular and on the rise, too.

My recommendation is if you are looking for a way to make some extra cash, or if you're wanting to begin your own photography-based business, this is an excellent resource to have on hand.

This book does indeed list 99 ways to make money from selling your photos. The assumption is that you're already a competent photographer, and if that's so then this book, along with some creativity, imagination, and hustle on your part will help you to begin to make some money from your photographs.

What I especially like about this book is that each way to make money rates how difficult it is to make money with that particular tip, the amount of competition you'll face, and that tip's income potential. Each tip is described in detail and includes how to get started and tips for success! In some cases specific web sites, etc., are included as possible outlets for your work.

If you're already a good photographer, and you're willing to take this book and really work hard at what it teaches you, then you should begin selling your own work soon. I have!

Well, I am 14 USD short after purchasing this book. Many of the ideas are just repeated over and over again, using different websites to approach, a lot of the ideas are frankly just stupid. Who makes money from making post cards nowadays so why even bother putting it in the book if not to scramble to get the 99 ideas? Using homeless people to sell your photos? For real?

If this had been titled 20 ways to make money instead of struggling to get 99 in where most of them are just repeats or pure crap then yes, by all means, this does give you some new ideas and mostly a good view into the competition you are facing.

After the first 10 chapters I find myself just skipping whole chapters as I feel they are either very far fetched, very low chance of any income or simply repeats from previous chapters.

If you want to make money from your photography, start with NOT buying this book.

There were a lot of great ideas in the book. The book is not lacking for information and allows you to quickly drcide whether or not you want to invest time reading each idea. This is done by rating such things as how easy it would be to implement the plan, how much competition you will face, and how much money can be earned , etc. The only negative thing I can say about the book is that the spelling and grammar are atrocious. I don't think anyone actually reviewed the thing for errors before it went to print. Aside from that it's the best of it's kind. I still recommend it as I gloss over the errors. It will serve it's purpose.
