After being a reggae bandleader and concert producer in Hawaii for 17 years (via the stage-name of Jesse Dawn), after buying "Ways and Means," the latest release by The Green,I must give them maximum props as being the most intensely good reggae band that Oahu Island has ever produced. The Green have the FULL PACKAGE, great dynamics and harmonies, and very good original songs. Reggae lovers should buy this CD IMMEDIATELY.

This album is sick. A friend of mine told me to check out this band and they were so awesome live. Listen to Love is Strong and Love & Affection. I'm not usually a fan of Soja, but Jacob sounds really good on Come In. The album is all over the place really showing you how reggae can be more than the cliches that have been regurgitated over and over. Check it out, its great!

This is a very well made Reggae recording. The sound quality and the songs are excellent. You can tell this band really reaches for excellence in their approach to music. I'm surprised I am as satisfied as I am.

This album, cover to cover, is incredible. My only complaint... that the band doesn't make it back to the East Coast nearly often enough. Can't wait till they make it back to the Mid-Atlantic area. Buy, buy, buy this album. You won't be disappointed. Great grooves, great beat, great chemistry; catch this band now before they become the NEXT "big" thing!

Very good CD by a band I just happened across. I spend a lot of time in my car and this, along with their CD, The Green, are in full rotation. I don't know if they are technically Reggae or Island music but they are worth a listen. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I have been listening to reggae since I first heard "Bodyguard" by Steel Pulse (1983). With a stagnated reggae music collection in need of new music I found The Green...and man am I a fan now. Any reggae fan has to have both of their discs. Awesome music.

I recently discovered this band. It's very enjoyable reggae style music. I have another album from this band and I like that disc as well. If you like lighted style of reggae music, you will enjoy anything from The Green. Give it a listen!
