Most Helpful Customer Reviews

Format: Paperback
This is a simple book to read about such a complex topic -- how one can convince one's self to stay in difficult places during difficult times. Although the stories are localized in South Africa, they could take place in almost any country and because of almost any violent circumstance. Bloom's personal narrative style and his desire to understand the world around him is noble, and say more about the South African spirit than just about any other book published in recent years.
