Book Description

March 15, 2007
14 Ways To Wish You A Happy Birthday expresses a unique and affectionate way to celebrate a birthday. The book features 14 one-of-a-kind, die-cut greeting cards, beautifully packaged in decorative envelopes printed with gold metallic ink. This keepsake is hand bound, and is a perfect way for a friend, relative, or co-worker to express their delight and best wishes for a momentous occasion. Each of the ornamental envelopes contains a richly detailed, die-cut greeting card. Inspired by the very popular Advent calendars that are used during the holidays, this book offers the recipient the opportunity to open fourteen different envelopes, each affxed to its own illustrated spread and containing a unique birthday card and message.

About the Author

The illustrations come from one of the most comprehensive archives of Victorian and Edwardian ephemera, The John Grossman Collection of Antique Images. In 1974, John and Carolyn Grossman bought the first pieces of their collection, in the form of postcards, labels, trade cards, and Valentines. This review is from: 14 Ways to Wish You a Happy Birthday (Hardcover)
Five Stars to this publisher. The content is appropriate for understanding the important of birthdays and does so in a beautiful and touching way. The color and imagery were outstanding. The combination of florals and their application is superior to some I have read or seen. I recommend this book to others who want to understand the theme of "birthdays" and the importance to rate them highly in a simple way.
