Nice coverage of an interesting cuisine,

This book focuses on a very specific aspect of Kashmiri cuisine; towit, the ritual feast in northern Muslim cookery known as the Wazwaan. For those unfamiliar with the term, this is a very rich formal feast comprising many dishes that can take days to prepare at the hands of a whole crew of professional cooks. There can be some variety in the dishes served but there are also several core dishes that are expected to be offered. The authors present 45 dishes, almost all nicely photographed, along with some background information about the Wazwaan feast in particular and Kashmiri food in general. It is a short introduction to this fascinating topic but a very good one.

This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to learn authentic Kashmiri cuisine.
The book is well organized and has excellent photographs. Highly recommended.
