Okay,I know this is a bad cd but the first time i listened to it i laughed so hard i almost fell off of my bed!!!!!!!!!!!!Rosa singing Bootylicious is the most funniest thing i have ever heard on a cd and when she sung Genie in a bottle.I just recently got this cd and i listen to Rosa over and over until i get tired of it.So i listen to her songs about three times then i turn it off.She makes me laugh everytime i listen to it.It's like if your having a bad day and you need something to cheer you up just put this cd in your cd player and it will make you laugh at least a little bit.So i think if you want to get a cd that will make you laugh your butt off get this one but don't spend alot of money on it unless you want to.Okay enjoy this awesome cd and have a very lovely day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must confess to being just wrongfully addicted to this show. The badness of the singers can't even begin to be adequatly described here. Tone deaf, methinks Oh yeah!

That being said...for sheer comedy value, this CD is GOLD! Rosa's Booty-licious is by far my favorite track. How she can come up with new and inventive ways to mangle the English language, yet still make this song sing-able (I defy you not to start singing with her when she urges you to 'Work that Jelly!') is a testament to comedic genius! Jaime's 'All By Myself' is also haunting in it's ear screeching wretchedness, but you can't help but chuckle when she adds 'Here We Go' before belting out a seriously wrong note!

Buy it for comedy. If you're buying it for music, ya gotta go somewhere else.

Hopefully Koch will release a CD by Rosa, who should have won the contest. Her performances of Bootylicious, Wind Beneath My Wings and her genius rendention of Genie in a Bottle are worth the price of the CD alone. I would have like another JoJo performance, but can't complain. The funniest friggin' CD you'll ever hear.

Although the show is amusing, it's not a cd that is very enjoyable to listen to more than a couple of times. In fact the singing is so bad I couldn't even listen to the songs the whole way through. Instead of a studio recording, each song was just taped during the live performance and so not only are the songs very short, but the live recording makes their voices even worse.
On the other hand it's actual proof that this show is for real. The reactions I got while playing it in my car with the windows down were quite interesting. I gave it three stars because I would recommend checking it out from the library, not purchasing it to own. Or buying it used at a discounted price. Although not quite worth $16+, it'd be worth maybe $9 for the fun you can have.

We all encounter these people every day. Talentless idiots who think they're god's gift. They need to be humiliated. And then, preferably, sterilized. PLEASE PROMOTE SELF AWARENESS. BUY THIS.

This Cd isn't that great to honestly tell you the truth, The only reason i gave it 5 stars was that Jaime Foss's excellent preformances made up for the horrible ones Rosa or Mario, or even Tamara sang, another bad thing about this Cd is that they took the songs right off the episodes, nothing was recorded in the studio, so theres no special touch, but as the title indicates Jaime is the true Superstar USA, and im one happy customer whos waiting impatiently for her Solo Debut to come out

I thought I knew what good singing was after listening to my favorite superstars from AI like Carmen Rasmussen or RJ Helton - but you've never truly heard a Superstar sing until you've listened to this CD! If I could, I'd eat every single one of these singers up with a spoon (too bad that cannibalism is illegal). Their performances are truly unbelievable, and will keep you entertained for years to come. The only way this could get any better is if there was an accompanying DVD! (although, that could be dangerous with Jamie, just ask Briggs!) All in all, I'd say this is a RIDICULOUS cd!

"Superstar USA" is one of the best "reality" shows to come along in a while. Unlike "American Idol" which takes crappy singers and tries to convince the viewing audience that they are great, "Superstar" acknowledges that its singers stink from the get-go. The songs on this album are so bad that they are hysterically funny. I don't feel a bit sorry for these "singers" or the humiliation that they have suffered because, frankly, they deserve it if they aren't intelligent enough to realize that their dreams of stardom in music are nothing but delusions.

The only drawback to this album is that we only have the music. Many of these performances are enhanced by actually SEEING them perform on TV. Mario's nerdy appearance, NinaDiva's crotch flashing, and Jamie writing the lyrics on her hand are all things that you don't get just listening to the songs.

Unless you are a true connoisseur of bad music (i.e. you already own one or more "American Idol" albums), then, as funny as this album is, you might not want to buy it. Just hope and pray that the WB somehow finds a way to recreate this show in a second season!

This CD is a true work of comedic art. If you guys missed this show when it was airing, you missed one of the greatest masterpieces in reality tv history. Although the idea for the show is very mean and humiliating for all of the contestants (who signed a release, granting all of their terrible singing footage to be aired on tv), the comdedy value is outstanding. Overall, I find that while watching, the laughs definately outweigh the cruelty factor of this show.
This cd is a great compilation of several of the outstandingly terrible, yet hillarious live performances from the contestants. I find the following tracks to be particularly AWESOME:
-Rosa singing "Wind Beneath My Wings": This young lady totally re-invents this already hillarious song and takes it to the next level of comedy. Rosa's terrible voice adds the perfect spice to an already sappy tune.
-Mario singing "Don't Want To Miss a Thing": The producers of this show were truly brilliant. They took already crappy songs and made these awful singers sing them. I could not have chosen a more appropriate song for the contestant Mario to sing, other than DWTMAT. The performance is truly hillarious! This track will make you have to pull over in your car, if you want to stay alive...
I wish William Hung would've never been around, because he steals the thunder from this show. This CD is a small representation of the greatest and funniest reality show of all time. Hopefully this will be released to DVD someday...

The people who actually bought this cd thinking it was a real cd of music are completely missing the point. This is not music. This is comedy. The show itself was hilarious and I wish they could bring it back somehow. I don't think its cruel when so many bad singers are completely delusional and tone deaf and want to showcase that. Anything performed by Rosa and Jamie are the best, as they slaughter the notes and words. This is a great party cd, and if you like this, check out the singer "wing" ( google it).
