5.0 out of 5 stars Funniest book I've read in a long time, March 31, 2000

If you enjoy King of the Hill this is a must read. Even if you don't it will keep you laughing. I am from Texas and know people like the Hills. Everyone fed up with wussy self help books needs to read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Help from the Heartland, March 31, 2000
By A Customer

Hank Hill's sophomore effort proves that he is going to be an author unlikely to disappear from the scene anytime soon.

His first how-to book gave us his unique insights on child-rearing, and now he has broadened the horizons to give us his personal take on the day to day care for the redneck soul.

With his straight-forward no-nonsense style, Hank comes through again, making WD-40 For The Soul a shoe in for the New York Times Bestseller list.

Recommended as highly as I recommend George W. Bush for President, this book is a must read.

Hank does it again! He serves up how-to Texas-style! I am the biggest fan of "King of the Hill". I wanna get propane from Hank and learn Spanish from Peggy! I hope there'll be another book form the show.
