About the Author

About the Author... Molly Grooms has loved animals and studied their behavior since she was a child. She won a statewide writing contest at age six when her first children's book was published. Molly has written several books for children, including We Are Wolves and We Are Bears, also published by NorthWord, which have become bedtime favorites in many languages. Molly lives in Oregon.

About the Illustrator... Takashi Oda has a degree in oil and mural painting from the Tokyo National University of Fine Art and Music. He began his career as a contemporary artist in 1995. In 1996 he joined paleontology scientists to draw a reconstruction for a natural history museum and publication in Japan. Takashi lives in Japan. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.
