5.0 out of 5 stars Book brings peace of mind
This book will bring you great peace of mind about death. I would also recommend the book An Encounter With A Prophet which will bring peace of mind about every issue that troubles us.

3.0 out of 5 stars cold reading
I dont want to get involved inbetween the believe systems, but anyone who is not doubting at all that these people are genuine can at least challange themselves....by knowing whats available. Nobody has to change their minds, but there are simply things that seem absolutely and one hundred percent impossible,..... and are not.

I recommend typing the term...

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book - Highly Recommend to anyone grieving., August 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: We Are Not Forgotten: George Anderson's Messages of Love (Mass Market Paperback)
All the books by and about George Anderson are excellent and MUST READS for anyone experiencing the loss of a loved one. To be read with an open mind, - but in my case,(a former MAJOR skeptic) I literally began calling some of the people in the book and others that had met with him and was assured by ALL of them that the readings in the books were accurately reproduced. One suggestion - read "WE DON'T DIE" first, then "WE ARE NOT FORGOTTEN." "OUR CHILDREN FOREVER" is also excellent, and "LESSONS FROM THE LIGHT" is worth reading as well. Read the books & do your own research about George- he's been put to the test on TV (Donahue;Unsolved Mysteries/48 Hours) and they are worth having on tape. The readings in the books are very impressive, loaded with details he could not possibly have about strangers- it's easy to be skeptical and believe only what you can sense yourself. But George (who was close to death himself as a child)proves there is something MORE. And IF he were a "Con"- he wouldn't still be doing this at such high demand after 19 yrs. Read. Take comfort. Research it yourself. Speak to those who have spoken to him. "We are not Forgotten" includes the story of David Elliott's father's reading (he was also interviewed later on TV).This was a skeptical man who began his journey to George thru the "We Don't Die" book. THEY SAY ONLY DEATH & TAXES ARE CERTAIN. WRONG. Some people may cheat on their taxes, but none of us can cheat death. And until it affects us, we forget how many people are in pain everyday from grief. It doesn't end at the funeral, AND it does NOT end 2 weeks (or months) later either.Grief can last months, years, or a lifetime when you lose a loved one. If you have lost a loved one and are feeling the pain of the loss - read the books about George Anderson. They are worth reading AND re-reading!!! Open your mind and your heart. When you lose someone you love sometimes faith is not enough; proof is needed that your loved one is alright and George Anderson's books and readings help provide that. Excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars An insightful and amazing account of George's gift to others, August 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: We Are Not Forgotten: George Anderson's Messages of Love (Mass Market Paperback)
I first read "We Don't Die" several years ago after a close friend had passed away and a co-worker recommended I read George Anderson's story. I thought I knew how to grieve, as I had lost several family members and friends over the previous few years. I was overwhelmed. As soon as I finished the first book, I read "We Are Not Forgotten". His communications are truly healing, even for those who have not had the fortune of meeting with him. Reading his books reassure us that dying is not the end and that loved ones are not forever gone. And for those people who don't particularly enjoy reading, let them know that his books are very simple and extremely fast reading. This should not be missed.

This review is from: We Are Not Forgotten: George Anderson's Messages of Love (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was the first sense of comfort that I have had since the suddne loss of our very healthy 3 year old son. We lost him last Dec. to Influenza A. We have been very devistated by our loss and always will be. George's readings and understanding of the hear and after has been the first beginnings of any healing that we have had to this point. He leaves you with comfort that this life is not the end, and I now feel sure that our son is fine. It by no means lessens the loss but brings about a whole new understanding. I would highly recommend his books to anyone especially if you have had a loss of a friend or loved one. The books are written beautifully and are very enjoyable to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars We Are Not Forgotten, January 5, 2000
This review is from: We Are Not Forgotten: George Anderson's Messages of Love (Mass Market Paperback)
George Anderson's books were a life saver for me and my family. After the unexpected death of my brother last year, these books helped us through the grieving process. The information offered so much hope and ultimately strengthened our spirituality. Joel Martin did such a wonderful job of proving George's credibility in George's first book, "We Don't Die", that we were compelled to read all his others. I highly reccommend these TREASURES to anyone who lost a loved one or who just needs to know more about life after life. I am eternally grateful to people like George Anderson. Not only has his gift helped so many people, but George's pure goodness shows through in his work. Because of George, I now know that my wonderful brother will live on forever, watching over us.

This review is from: We Are Not Forgotten: George Anderson's Messages of Love (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the follow up book to the 1980's best seller, "We Don't Die" also team authored by George Anderson, Patricia Romanowski, and Joel Martin. The George Anderson books written with Romanowski and Martin take special pains to provide convincing supporting evidence to lend veracity to George Anderson's discernments or psychic readings. Both Romanowski and Martin are respected journalists who apply the rigors of healthy skepticism to their subject matter. If you're looking for a flimsy debunking, you won't find it in,"We Are Not Forgotten."
Instead, you the reader, encounter page after page of transcripts from George Anderson's sessions with people seeking information from loved ones who have passed over to the other side. After reading this book, one tends not to use words like death, with the usual sense of finality and resignation.
From the transcripts of sessions, it is obvious that Anderson is not cold reading. He doesn't throw out random names and relationships hoping to score a hit. His discernments are usually precise to the point where Anderson will persist with a hint of stubborness. Anderson will often insist that the spirit coming through has given the correct name and relationship to the person undergoing a session. Other less capable mediums or psychics will refrain from insisting on the accuracy of their readings.
If you become engrossed in this book the way I did, the two hundred plus pages will go by rather quickly. You may be interested in pursuing the subject matter further with a reading of "We Don't Die" or several other George Anderson books. The stories included in the Anderson series are insightful, inspiring, and well written. George Anderson truly is one of the great clairvoyants of our age, and his readings are nothing short of remarkable.

After reading We don't Die,I immediately read We Are Not Forgotten only to be comforted further. I have recently had a tragic loss and feared the unknown and doubted my faith that the Lord promised us eternal life. These books have made me a believer again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, April 12, 2002
This review is from: We Are Not Forgotten: George Anderson's Messages of Love (Mass Market Paperback)
One of my favorite books about George Anderson. Filled with actually readings (discernments) he has done.... I have read all of the books involving George Anderson now, and have to say the best by far is LESSONS FROM THE LIGHT. If you only want to purchase one at this time - that's the one to get! But if you can, purchase all of them.... They are all good books.
