This song will be perfect for some. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's not my style.
Great music and voices - upbeat lyrics, which is always nice.
Keep up the good work!

I love Nico Vega regardless but I really digg the uniqueness of this track. I could listen to this on replay... and I have lol.

I really appreciate the free songs amazon puts out each month to promote new rising artists. Past downloads have led me to purchase full albums from Ani DiFranco, Apples in Stereo, The War on Drugs, Best Coast, Grimes, Father John Misty (of Fleet Foxes), Childish Gambino, Django Django, Bear in Heaven, Sharon van Etten, and many others. This is yet another song that induces me to purchase a full album. As my title suggests, Nico Vega takes the manic, girl passion Sleigh Bells uses to evoke nihilistic pep rallies and instead adds a synth beat which evokes a toned down, melodic power anthem vibe. I will be watching to see what else this band has in store in the future.

I had never heard of Nico Vega and I am a DJ so the idea of giving a free song as a sample allows you to experience their sound and decide if you like or not, in this case it was a definate like

Kudos to the artists who are trying to step outside of what has been over-done. But this particular sound is quickly getting to that point as well. The problem is that being "edgy" is not the only necessary element of establishing oneself as an artist. One must also have ability in the form of talent and/or skill that gives them something different. This song is juvenile. The words become nonsense after the first utterance, and the musical ability is non-existent. It has an interesting, angry, rebellious drive to the sound, but it's just not any good.
