One of the most moving photo-essays I have seen in too long to remember. There are images that are moving, that made me laugh, that brought a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye. This book is essential for the coffee table of anyone who believes in civil rights, or for any family members who aren't yet convinced that two people who love each other should be able to get married, and will be my new wedding gift for any couple, gay or straight. What an amazing tribute to the more than 4,000 couples who battled rain, cold, wind, and hateful protestors to show their love to the world--and most importantly to each other--and to make history at the same time.

I just saw Gavin Newsom on Meet the Press. I know he is straight, but he is really sooooooo cute! And what a great guy. I treasure my little Tiffany commemorative ramekin with his signature in gold on the inside lid!!! I bought it at embassy that was having a charity garage sale to raise money for a medical cause. It is really elegant, with little scenes of the City by the Bay. He is fabulous, as he even gives out classy gifts to dignitaries that any gay man would appreciate!

Format: Paperback
This book I ordered to help my sister plan her wedding. What I thought was a gay wedding planner book was so much more. It was a wonderful, warm, happy book about the celebration of individuals marriages and short stories. It was not a planning book, but more a coffee table book to share and read. I read the book in about 35 minutes from front to back, and called my sister balling and congratulating her and her girlfriend. It was touching and inspiring. A great gay friendly coffee table book for all to enjoy!!
