A Gem!!,
By Rina S. Wolfgang (Wakefield, RI United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: We Gave the World Moses and Bagels: Art and Wisdom of Jewish Children (Hardcover)
This book is an absolute gem; it gives you a wonderful view of Judaism through the eyes of children. Only children would say that one way of knowing that someone is Jewish is by the way they are able to make the guttural "ch" sound! As a Judaic Studies teacher for the last 25 years, this book brought me laughter, tears, joy and satisfaction that children feel so comfortable with who they are, and love to share it. If you are looking for a fresh, new view on religion, God and being Jewish, don't miss the opportunity to read this book! A great find--

This review is from: We Gave the World Moses and Bagels: Art and Wisdom of Jewish Children (Hardcover)
A cute little book collecting children's ideas on Yiddishkeit--secular, religious... not necessarily for children, but definitely for all who love (Jewish) kids.
