5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Journal Book
I have enjoyed this datebook as a personal journal for 10 years now. There is just enough room to write about daily going-ons and feelings yet not so much overwhelming room as to skip writing in it altogether. The astrological information, particularly the lunar info is indispensable. The artwork, poems, and photos from women all over the world is tremendously sacred...

3.0 out of 5 stars good, but not if you are an exceptionally busy person
I bought this planner as I consider myself a pretty strong feminist, and I work in the women's healthcare field. I really like the theme and message of the book, as well as the illustrations and stories. It pays a lot of respect to indigenous cultures, alternative and traditional sources of knowledge, and women's intuitive forces. However, there really is not a lot of...

However, there really is not a lot of room to write your daily meetings and scheduled plans. Unlike other planners where each page is for one day, each page here is divided into as many as five days. WAY TOO SMALL! I end up piling every thing into one little box and it gets really hard to read. If I had different meetings every hour there wouldn't be enough room at all. So, keep that in mind before you buy this planner and think about how you plan to use it and how much you plan to write down in it. It also doesn't list the American holidays, which can be considered a plus by some-but a hassle by others who need to know when American schools, busineses, offices, etc. will be closed so they can plan accordingly.

If you like knowing where the planets are and what cycle the moon is in on any given day, this little pocket size reference is for you. I love the art work and poems that are contributed each year from women all over the world. The added table of gardening cycles and how they relate to moon cycles has really paid off in my garden. If you like little known facts of folklore and legend, it'll be a big hit with you too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent datebook!, June 12, 2002
This review is from: We Moon 2002 Calendar: Gaia Rhythms for Womyn : An Astrological Moon Calendar Datebook and Daily Guide to Natural Rythms for Womyn (Calendar)
I have been using the We'Moon datebook for years now. I order mine in October to make sure I get it in time for the new year. Over the years, this little book of Women's wisdom has matured beautifully. The antecdotes in the book are thought-provoking and insightful. The art work is wonderful.

The spaces for each day are big enough to write in daily appointments or to use as a mini-diary. I use it to write daily happenings and to note important events like the births of my grandchildren or anniversaries.

There is an ephemeris in the back of the book, as well as a moon calendar. There's a section for addresses and phone numbers. They have lots of information on the phases of the moon and even a section on the asteroids!!

Lots of useful information in the pages of this unassuming little book!!

I don't think I could live without mine for very long. I would be lost without it!!!
