More About the Author

The late Dr. A. W. Tozer was well known in evangelical circles both for his long and fruitful editorship of the Alliance Witness as well as his pastorate of one of the largest Alliance churches in the Chicago area. He came to be known as the Prophet of Today because of his penetrating books on the deeper spiritual life.

We travel An Appointed Way is the ninth volume of collected editorials from A. W. Tozer's 14 year stint (1950 - 1964) as editor of Alliance Life magazine. Tozer is oft quoted by theologians and journalists of every stripe for his biblical insight. His writing is clear, to the point, and persuasive. Reading Tozer makes you want to tell someone else what you have read.

We Travel An Appointed Way would make an excellent companion to your daily Bible reading. Since each of the 38 chapters is a re-published magazine article they are short, and easily digestible. I have read very little from Tozer but want to read more! I highly recommend this volume.
