Very nice "quote" book.
This is a very nice,glossy book of the 49ers heyday filled with many pictures of all the greats. It's not the type of book that pertains to a lot of actual information on the team,as noted by the reviewer. VERY GLOSSY WITH NOT MUCH SUBSTANCE
THIS IS MORE OF A PICTORAL VIEW COVERING THE 49ERS SUPER BOWL TEAMS. THE INTERVIEWS AND STORIES COVERING THE TEAM ARE VERY SHORT AND NOT VERY DETAILED. THERE ARE MANY NICE PHOTOS IN THIS BOOK BUT IF YOU WANT A REAL MEAT AND POTATOES, DETAILED LOOK AT THE SEASON BY SEASON FACTS AND STATS, THIS IS NOT THE BOOK FOR YOU. This is a very nice,glossy book of the 49ers heyday filled with many pictures of all the greats. It's not the type of book that pertains to a lot of actual information on the team,as noted by the reviewer. This book is a large collection of quotes and remarks made by ex players who helped build the Niners into the winningest team of the last 25 years. Thus,it's an easy and somewhat quick read as you are browsing over statements made by such and such player (or coach). Good collectible book.

I bought this book for my son for Christmas. He is a big 49ers fan and had been looking for this book. He has already read the book from cover to cover and has placed it in his 49ers collection corner. This is a very accurate, detailed history of the 49ers and believe any fan would enjoy it.
