These headphones are TERRIBLE. Disregard the other reviews and pay attention to mine! I bought these headphones about three months ago for my girlfriend. We bought them for the design, not the sound, which is fairly subpar. But they look pretty cute, don't they? That's where the flattery ends.

The extremely tight headband snapped after only a single day of use. We sent them back, received another pair within a week, went about our business. My gal is a professional dogwalker, so she listens to music constantly all day. She tolerated the tightness of the headband (resulting in a vice-like fit) because of the groovy Bermuda design. After a month or two, the band finally began to stretch out a bit, but only when adjusted to the most extreme setting. Better wear a hat or have nine pounds of hair if you want these to stay on your head!

Before long, the wiring began to short out and the phones would only work if the cord was draped a certain way. Today, after a month of this torturous procedure, the sound cut out entirely. After three months!

Man, these things aren't worth the box in which they arrive. Seriously, SERIOUSLY, buy a different pair of headphones and let this awful product rot in the warehouse.

i like that these head phones are stylish and fit over the ears, but beauty comes at a price. There's hardly and noise-cancelling properties except if you turn the volume up to eardrum damaging levels. Also, my pair buzzed when there was heavy bass playing in the songs -- whats the point of having forty dollar headphones if you can't enjoy the heavy bass?

overall: not the pair if you're buying these headphones to LISTEN to music.

I bought these because I found them cheap on sale and like the style.
1. they are tight, and I dont have a big head, so tight that if I watched a 2 hour movie my ears would hurt
2. Ive been using them for about a month, the wire is already shorting and ive switched to my old pair cuz I cant stand it.

These headphones are amazing! I use them almost everyday and get so many compliments on them. They are very durable, I don't have to worry about them getting smashed in my book bag at school or getting wet in the rain.
The sound is awesome, the rest of the world disappears when I have them on.

I am extremely impressed because the extension cable on mine started going bad after I owned them a few months. I called WESC headquarters and told them my problem. They took my name and adress and sent me a new cable for free no questions asked. Customer service like that is rare. Definately worth the money.

They're nice and soooo stylish, and provide excellent sound!
I used to be bothered by my rommie's phone calls all the time, but these headphones actually do block outside sounds pretty well. So glad I got these. Always catch compliments~

I absolutely love these headphones! I got them in yellow and the color is perfect, more of a mustardy yellow vs. bright in-your-face yellow. I wear them at work and while I'm drawing and painting. They're stylish, seem quality-made, and the sound is great. Like another reviewer said, the rest of the world disappears when you put these on. And a minor detail, but I'm a huge fan of the woven rope-like cord rather than the usual rubber-y material most headphone cords come with.

I have had mine for over 6 months now, and love them. I wear them niegh on everyday, and dueing weekdays wear them for pretty much the full day while at work.

I have, I would say, pretty normal sized ears, and they are a nice snug fit, with a tight seal creating a solid sound stage. Looks are fantastic, and if you dig around you can find some old seasonal colours, there are some great ones out there for those of you not into bold or high staturation colours.

The only thing that stops these headphones from getting 5 stars is the bass. The bass at times is a little underwhelming, which is suprising as for the look and stats on the headphones I was expecting, if anything, a headphone with too much bass. It's not enough to spoil or even really dampen the listening experience, but hopefully if WESC ever make a marraca 2, it's the one thing they could improve upon.

Other than that, for me and for the price, these have been ideal.

I need headsets for I work at home mostly at night beside my sleeping spouse or kids. The OBOE line model chosen does great. Recommended !

I've been buying from these guys for a while. I know at one point it became clear that they abandoned quality for... well... something really appealing they could pass off as quality.

This is my second WeSC review, so in a nutshell I will say you will be replacing these or an accessory to these phones more often than not. The only thing that will save you from this is light usage, which would defeat the purpose of purchasing them.

If you're a heavy user , or plan to use these or any WeSC head phones often, they're gonna give in. They're simply not built to last... Luckily (if you want to call it luck), their customer service is really nice and is always willing to replace minor parts (i.e. extension cord, ear muffs...).

If you're not a Dj or a sound cancellation nazi, and are looking for a combo of look and sound then sure, buy these. BUT if you are heavily invested in sound quality and don't like buying items that are more for visual appeal and aren't built to last, then reconsider this purchase.

Would I buy WeSC head phones again? Maybe the Maraca's, but I hear the iphone buds are amazing, so we shall see...
