Although saving and investing are the cornerstones of personal prosperity, millions of Americans find themselves living from paycheck to paycheck, with little or no money left over to save, much less to invest. To seize control of their financial futures, most Americans need to learn new strategies for keeping and growing the money they have, and tips for increasing their income. Wealth Starts at Home outlines 10 strategies that lead readers toward securing a bright financial future. Thirty million people, currently working full or part time from the comfort of their own homes, have realized that a home business is not only convenient, it also allows them to save money for their future like never before. Sixty million more Americans are expected to join them by the year 2000. David D'Arcangelo explains that anyone, even those with a net worth as low as $500, can open a home-based business and immediately expand their income while generating all-important tax breaks. Written in an easygoing style and packed with real-world examples and tips, Wealth Starts at Home outlines other goals average readers can achieve, including: How to secure personal financial needs; paying off a home in half the time; investing in real estate with no money down; retiring in style with the help of Uncle Sam. Tens of thousands of consumers seeking personal financial growth have attended D'Arcangelo's seminars. Now Wealth Starts at Home will make his proven wealth-building techniques and strategies available to readers everywhere. By the time they reach the last page, readers will be informed, educated and confident enough to begin building their financial future.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wealth Starts At Home, November 28, 2005
This review is from: Wealth Starts At Home: And 15 Other Financial Secrets That Could Make You a Fortune (Hardcover)
Found that this book might be helpful to someone looking to become a used car salesman. There are those that practice what they preach and I think that 90% of the information in the book is regurgitated rhetoric that you hear at some informercial in the wee hours of the morning

facts just a bit. I mean-Come On! One idea he has for making extra money in the "Multiple Source Of Income" (MSI) is prepaid mortgages. Who in their right mind would pay someone $300 for something they can do themselves for the cost of a stamp. Do not even think of going into an internet business without reading Phil Kent's "Poor Richard's Web Site. I agree with some of the concepts. I invest in tax certificates myself. And the idea of Life Insurance Policies to Protect family Assets is right on target. But Mr. D'Arcangelo fails to mention that taking home office deductions is one of the main red flags the IRS uses in looking for tax returns to audit. Worth a read but go in on the price of the book with a few friends and sell it to the used book store when you have all finished reading it. Or better yet--check it out of the library!
