It was ok especially since it was free. I agree that Ilios wasn't very likeable and Lizzie was too soft. It felt so drawn out that once again I read the dialogue only and skipped everything else about halfway thru hence my average 3 star rating. Enjoy

Lissie was broke and taking care of her sisters and two young nephews when she got a nasty letter from a Greek she didn't even know. The letter was mean enough to get Lissie on a plane to Greece and find out what the problem was. When she arrived at the site where the building complex that she had done interior design in was no longer there she was stunned. She didn't even have enough money to stay at a hotel. The nasty Greek was Ilios, the alpha, rich, gorgeous, nasty man now telling Lissie that he had it torn down, and that she owed him and all the trades people money. Lissie tried to explain that she was broke and that what she owned of that ugly complex was given to her because the people who put it up owed her money. Ilios didn't care what her problem was, even though he was having major problems keeping his eyes off her. He needed to get himself a wife to keep his inheritance and since love and happiness were not something he did- Lissie would do. This is a genre that I love, but it fell along the line somewhere in this story. Maybe not enough conflict, and I never really liked Ilios. Lissie had that doormat quality that I don't really care about. He had issues but why so nasty! I still recommend this book because the story was good.
