There should be a law against writing this good, this sharp. This book packed quite a silent pinch. Towards the end, some of the things Rafe confess to Korrine, made me throw the book down to the ground....This lady has a way with words...... I must check out her other works.

This book is hot and the love scenes are oh so, scrumptious....

What can I say?....I love Mrs. Maureen Smith's books!!!! Very well written, with suspense and romance. I love how Rafe spoke Spanish to Korrine at the perfect time making her melt. And the love scenes (OH MY GOD), they rocked eachothers world even though there were only a couple scenes. I loved how the characters played out in the story, the book was long but not long enough. I wanted to know how things were going months later. Very very very good book, although Taming the Wolf is my all time favorite. I suggest every reader read that book including A Legal Affair!!!! Thanks for a wonderful book Mrs. Smith.

I have read other books by Ms Smith and they were awesome, but this book disappointed me alittle. There was more FBI case work going on then the romance Bwtn Korrine and Rafe. They only got together once and all the romance disappeared again...and the end was rushed and unfulfilling...over all, I was disappointed...this was more a mystery book than a romance novel :-(

Maureen Smith has done it again with this book. A wonderful mystery filled with great suspense and romantic tag played between two magnificent characters. Loved this tale of Rafe and his family and their closeness. Wonderful read of how a fathers' love has no boundaries of time. Ms. Smith keep the great stories coming..

Maureen you are really working your way up the ladder to become one of my favorite authors of all time. Her development of characters and the pace of her novels are incredible. I have not been disappointed by one of her books yet. I was so in love with Rafe in this novel I had to keep checking my pulse. The story was so sexy but had enough suspense to keep you glued to the story...way to go again Maureen.

This book was great!!! It had it all...suspenseful, sexy & well written!! I read it more than once... I have read a lot of Mrs. Smith's books...have yet to be disappointed. A must read.

I really enjoyed this book. This was the second book I read by this author. Her characters were likable and the love interest strong and attractive. The plot was rich and detailed. I am going to read more of her books.

OK, RAFE IS JUST TOO FINE FOR HIS OWN GOOD ! I LOVED KORRINE FOR HER INDEPENDENCE,AND HER STRENGTH. RAFE KNEW THAT SHE WAS THE ONE WHEN SHE TOLD HIM BOLDLY THAT SHE THOUGHT HE WAS ATTRACTIVE. SHOOT! I WOULD HAVE THE SIX CHILDREN FOR HIM...

This was a great book. It was suspenseful to the very end. I enjoyed the romantic scenes as well. Being from the South Texas area I can also state that the descriptions given are very accurate. I have never read any of Ms. Smith's previous books but I am now going to read them. Very good job the reader's will enjoy this book.

My first book by Maureen Smith and I was disappointed. This was a nice suspense story but no romance. Rafe and Korrine were together only once romantically and the ending seem rushed. It seems like there should be a sequel to Rafe and Korrine story. I'm not going to give up on Ms. Smith I will try another one of her novels. I hope its better than this one.
