This is a lovely little book with wonderful art work and writing that is inspiring as well as motivating. I read it cover to beautiful cover in one sitting, but I made notes about subjects on pages that I return to whenever I'm in a philosophical or political discussion. I plan to order more copies and give them to friends and family. I believe we're going to hear more from Randy Shields. His artistic as well as writing talents are wonderful vehicles to convey his important message.

It's a paean to hippies and to what they represented in our history and continue to represent in our culture. It's filled with reminders about what really matters and how the culture of the hippies tried to help us all to see that. It's not too late. We can still recover from the consumerist, money-centered focus of today's US. Read this book and then pass it on. It could help. It surely won't hurt.
