this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I was looking for a beach chair that wasn't low to the ground and reclined more than two ways. What I got with this beach chair was so much more and for not so much more money. it reclines in four positions has a small head rest, cup holder, not so low to the ground and the best feature is you can carry it on your back like a backpack so you have two free hands when walking to the beach. Love it!

Just received these chairs - ordered because of the great reviews. The description says the backpack has a zipper, which I thought would be great. None of the reviews mentioned that the chairs do not have a zipper, but just straps to hold it closed. I am concerned that things will fall out on the way to the beach, and wonder why no one else mentioned this. They may end up being comfortable beach chairs, but they ARE missing an element that was noted in the description.

We have had these chairs for almost three years now and they have worked flawlessly at the beach, summer concerts, and camping. The chair as a backpack is actually comfortable and I love having a cup holder. I recommend this chair.

I bought 3 chairs, one for myself and two as gifts, and we all love them. Shipping was surprisingly fast and the chairs were well packaged to avoid damage.

Chair was a good price & can hold all of your beach items in the backpack on the back of the chair.

Love this chair. It has lasted several seasons now with no wear I can see, and has great comfort and tremendous storage compared to similar ones. You can't tell from the front-view photo, but it easily holds our soccer ball, cleats, shinguards, groundcloth, etc. It is wider than you'd expect but folds very flat (when its empty, which ours never is!) It also has comfortable straps that somehow fit my nine year old, me, or my husband comfortably. I'm now shopping for a matching one. oh, ours is the aluminum frame; if I can't find aluminum this time I will go with the steel rather than switch to another brand (there doesn't seem to be a difference in weight?...can it be that the steel is actually lighter???).
