This is the first, and admittedly biased review of this chair...because we are the manufacturer, Welcom Products.

Our company started in late 1998 in my partner's garage in Redondo Beach, CA. The WearEver BackPack Chair was once just an idea....from someone that wanted to haul their gear (including a chair) to and from the beach several blocks away. Today, in California, you'd have to look hard NOT to see a WearEver Chair at the beach, park, socer field and every even tconceivable - it's simply a better way to carry your chair, sit for long periods and have all your gear with you.

Millions of units later, we are now among a handful of the largest sellers of portable chairs in the US.

The 05F is a steel framed chair,and brand new to our line for 2004-05. It has the same frame as the WC05, but in an innovative Stars & Stripe fabric design. We have gone to such lengths as specifying an exceedingly close PMS match of the US Flag's Old Glory Red and Blue for this chair - we think the results are terrific. Otherwise, it shares the huge backpack, twin adjustable carry straps, hardwood arms, multi-recline positions, adjustable headrest (why doesn't EVERY full-back lounger have one of these? It is just one of the differences you will appreciate with a genuine WearEver Chair from Welcom Products)and cupholder.

We make these chairs with some measure of pride...and hope that you enjoy them as those before you, and many after you, will.

These chairs are a bit heavy when you carry them by the handle, but when you use the backpack straps and carry them on one shoulder or fully on your back they are very lightweight. And the backpack feature frees up your arms to carry the rest of your beach necessities! They are very comfortable to sit in for even long periods. An hour or two at the water's edge guarantees your chair will get wet, but the chairs dry nicely and show no signs of rust on the metal parts. My parents own a set of these in a teal blue and I was thrilled to have finally found these, especially in the awesome Stars & Stripes design. I have already recommended them to friends and family.

I am shocked--really shocked that this chair is so darn comfortable. Seriously, with this chair I was the envy of everyone at our city park. It's easy to carry, though you wouldn't want to carry it on a 3 mile hike,...it's perfect for a day at the beach, an afternoon at the park, or just relaxing in any open space. You can free up your hands to carry other things (cooler, diapers, whatever...), and it's really quite comfortable. A great chair at a good price. Bost most of all--comfortable.

My wife & I are very pleased with the two chairs we bought. The chair is very sturdy and real comfortable. It packs up easy and the backpack holds a great deal of beach stuff.

I received this chair today. This chair is 4 position recline instead of 5 as this webpage says!

This is quite small and short a chair.

We just love these beach chairs. The Stars and Stripes design is beautiful. Like the manufacturer states, you will love the backpack, carry straps, adjustable headrest and cupholder features. Other chairs at this price do not have all these amenities. Enjoy!

well made. Love the pillow and backpack feature. It rusts after a while but all of them due. very sturdy.

Heavier than I expected, but worth the weight. A very comfortable way to lug stuff to a swim meet and wait it out.
