Who says dog clothes can't be fun? I was pleased by the fashions in the book and will be making most of them for my dogs and their friends. If you dress your dog these are a great variety. If you need a more daily variety of wearable fashion for your pet try Dogwear: Over 30 Super Easy Sewing Projects: Fashionable, Functional, Fun Gear for Your Four-Legged Friend

This book is a good suppliment for sewing for your dog. I wouldn't suggest it as the first book you get, or one to learn to sew for your dog. It does have some very good, imaginative ideas on how to combine colors and fabrics to obtain truly a one of a kind design. It includes a double sided, large pull out sheet of patterns for a dog outfit and some of the designs they show. If you are looking for a dog coat or dress pattern book, I wouldn't suggest it. If you are looking for new ideas to make your best friend a truly special outfit, then this book is for you.

This book has so many wonderful ideas for adapting/recycling clothes etc to make these adorable outfits! I've been quilting and dollmaking for years so these patterns I consider to be at the intermmediate level, but worth the try if your a beginner at sewing. I'm now going to recycle my little boy maltese's denim jacket for my little girl chihuahua, a little lace, some sparkle and voila! Can't beat the price! Thanks Amazon.
